Mermaid Beach is one street off the water for most of its length, and the buildings show it.
An original low-set brick place and a new three-level rebuild sit side by side on the same street, so a quote here is per-house rather than per-suburb — the house next door tells you almost nothing.
Anything east of the Gold Coast Highway wears salt: window frames, garage doors, the render on the newer builds, and the strip of concrete down the side where nothing ever dries out.
The blocks are narrow, side access is often a metre and a bit between fence and wall, and the driveways are short and steep down to the kerb: runoff heads for the kerb and the kerb heads for the beach, so drain protection goes down before anything is turned on.
Off-street parking is scarce on the beachfront streets, so where the ute sits is sorted at the quote instead of blocking a neighbour on the day.

- Drains protected, plants covered, biodegradable products. Nothing we lift ends up in a stormwater drain.
- Roofs soft washed and gutters cleared from a ladder, single storey or second storey. No harness, no fall arrest, no elevated work platform.
- Wall washing is ground level, done with a telescopic lance. We don’t take on second-storey wall or facade washing.
