Burleigh Waters is the quieter half of Burleigh: canal and lake estates, cul-de-sacs, and street after street of 1990s brick under concrete tile that has stood through thirty wet seasons.
Those tile roofs are usually the first thing an owner notices from the driveway. Lichen sits along the laps on the shaded southern pitch, and it lifts with a soft wash at low pressure.
Thirty years of street trees also means the gutters pack out every autumn and the driveway under that same canopy stays damp between storms.
Pool surrounds are close to universal on these blocks and they are usually what prompts the call, because coping goes slippery underfoot well before it looks dirty to anyone.
We clean; coating, sealing and roof restoration are left to that trade.
Access is kind here by Gold Coast standards — wide streets, room to park off the road, side gates that actually open — so the roof, the gutters and the driveway usually go in one visit.
How we work
- We photograph the whole job before we start, damage included. You get the full set either way.
- Drains protected, plants covered, biodegradable products. What we lift is kept out of the stormwater drains.
- Walls are washed from the ground.
- Fibro and asbestos cement — fibro cladding, a Super Six roof, eaves, a pre-1990 fence — identified on the walk-around, left as found and documented in writing.
- We clean. Coatings, sealing and restoration are left to the trade that holds the QBCC licence for that work.
