Bundall is the Gold Coast’s office and light-commercial pocket, the one suburb where a weekday call is as likely to be about a shopfront as a house.
Along Bundall Road there are showrooms, strata offices, medical suites and the car parks behind them, all with entry paving, awnings and service areas that look fine head-on and terrible the moment low sun hits them.
That work is quoted around trading hours instead of ours, and anything running towards a stormwater pit gets drain protection first, because the Nerang River is always within a block or two.
Past the racecourse and towards the HOTA side it turns residential fast: river and canal-backed houses on generous blocks, long driveways, and the standing humidity that comes with being that close to the water.
Access is the easy part — off-street parking, loading bays, side gates that open properly — so a mixed commercial and residential run usually fits into a single visit.
How we work
- We photograph the whole job before we start, damage included. You get the full set either way.
- Drains protected, plants covered, biodegradable products. What we lift is kept out of the stormwater drains.
- Walls are washed from the ground.
- Fibro and asbestos cement — fibro cladding, a Super Six roof, eaves, a pre-1990 fence — identified on the walk-around, left as found and documented in writing.
- We clean. Coatings, sealing and restoration are left to the trade that holds the QBCC licence for that work.
